The X-Talon 212 are, overall, a superb trail shoe and probably the lightest in weight you will ever wear- you really feel your feet are as light as feathers as you fly over those trails- a word of warning though; the flip side of this is that you tend to feel every stone, twig and acorn beneath your feet after a while so they are better for shorter or middle distance runs, but may become uncomfortable for you after a while (in my experience they are fine for the first hour or so). Alternatively try a thicker insole to protect the bottom of your feet with these.
Other points are that they are great in the wet, letting water through but most mud out, they are very flexible and the grips are really excellent, even on slippy rocks and wet grassy slopes.
I would recommend these trail shoes for those who prefer a light-weight shoe, which performs brilliantly in all conditions off-road and on. One of the best!
