The Renegade GTX is LOWA's best selling trekking boot and a firm favourite for day hiking, backpacking and short expeditions because of the phenomenal comfort, support and cushioning it offers. The soft, nubuck leather upper is lined with GORE-TEX®, meaning it is not only flexible but fully waterproof. Because the lining is seamless, the risk of hot spots and blisters is reduced and mid height ankle support ensures a secure fit. A new midsole construction means that the boot is even more lightweight whilst retaining important stability. The climate control footbed keeps feet at a comfortable temperature and improves breathability. The Womens Renegade GTX also features a robust but flexible Vibram® sole, providing support and absorbing impact on every step. Benefits also include derby style lacing meaning that you can customise the boot to suit your foot shape.

Comfortable boots Reviewed By Helen, 14 May 2013

I received a great service when buying these boots at the Covetn Garden store. I have had my existing boots for 10 years and the sales assistant was very knowledgable and helpful.I have a fairly narrow fit and these boots were very comfortable.

Best for Duke of Edinb'h Gold,Snowdonia Expedition Reviewed By bronte, 05 Apr 2013

The last of a long line of shoes tried by my 17 year old fashionista Gold Duke of Edinburgh daughter in the St.Albans store.

The staff at the store were expecting us (we phoned ahead) and had nominated 2 staff who had some specialist knowledge of my daughter's circulatory problems (Raynauds Syndrome).
My daughter was shown how to assess for best fit whilst maintaining a good standard of volume to allow her feet to move within the boot. We were surprised to find that we had previously bought the wrong boot size for my daughter which was exacerbating her condition and instead of being a size 5 she is in fact a 6.5 in most walking boots.
Coupled with a pair of merino wool socks we left the store lighter in pocket but with stacks of good advice and an excellent pair of walking boots which are currently being 'broken in' and walked all over the house as we speak - a very happy customer...its not always easy to please a 17 year old!
I now have piece of mind that she has good supportive boots, they look and feel great and will stand up to the 80K walk in July.
The staff at the store were very knowledgeable about the demands of D of E and of all their products. I can't see me going anywhere else in the future for all our other walking and cycling gear frankly.

Very good boots Reviewed By Gina, 17 Mar 2013

After spending an hour in the shop at Hedge End I finally chose these boots! They are comfortable, gave the depth I needed for my feet and my feet are not wide, and also have a very comfortable width. I had limmited to 2 pairs of boots but these ones did it for me for the amount of comfort for my feet and the fact that they are a substancial boot.

Want a boot thats stylish, fashionable and safe... Reviewed By james, 04 Jan 2013

Is it just me? or do other husbands with a passion for the hills, find it difficult to entice their wives out with them, unless they get to wear fashionable walking gear...ordinarily nice looking but impractical and on occassion unsafe. The Lowa Renegade boot though, has captured the wifes heart. This is a boot with real style and class, it is sensationally light and comfortable, yet offers phenomenol foot support, is totally waterproof and has a sturdy, solid vibram sole that makes it safe and secure for the wife to be able to scramble up Goat Fell. If you worry about your wives safety when she only wants style, look no further than the Lowa renegade and begin enjoying the hills together again, without the worry.

This is the best pair of boots I have ever bought. Reviewed By Brian, 29 Aug 2012

I bought a pair of these boots about a month before I walked the Cumbria Way and wore them all the way. The weather was bad and I was walking through water and bog for most of the way. The boots were very comfortable and my feet stayed dry for the whole walk. A great product, which I thoroughly recommend.

Love my Lowas! Reviewed By Victor, 15 Aug 2012

Had never tried Lowa boots before, and on my first outing with my new Lowa boots I walked 6 miles and could have done more. They are very comfortable, supportive yet soft around the ankle, and hold the foot well without being tight. I walk my dog for approx 2 hours almost daily along tracks, woodland and fields in a local country park, and we have 3 or 4 holidays a year involving walking in such places as Cumbria, Scotland, Devon. If my feet are not happy neither am I!! The staff in the Birmingham New Street store were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, (unlike another local outdoor store I had visited.)Would definitely recommend these boots for comfort - and they look good too!!
