Good practical day sack Reviewed By Sean, 08 May 2013

Good size with comfortable straps and back padding. The side mesh pockets are a good size for water bottles. Inner section for hydro pack but still has good size for carrying equipment (clothes, books or laptop). It has a practical front pocket and secure top pocket on the bag which is good for daily use. It does not have a water proof cover but so far has no leaking in light rain.
Currently a great price and well worth buying.

Value for money Reviewed By Richard, 03 Apr 2013

Great value for money sits well on the back with plenty of space. Why spend more on something that cost double the price and does the same thing.

Simple, fantastic rucksack Reviewed By Amy, 11 Mar 2013

I needed a simple, relatively cheap, but durable daysack (which is surprisingly hard to find!). Thank goodness for the Lowe Alpine Orbit 30. It suits my needs perfectly - it has a large main compartment, then a smaller one in front, which has a handy little pocket for those small things that usually fall to the bottom of your bag (and subsequently become impossible to find when you need them). There is also a handy (and well hidden) pocket on the top of the bag behind the larger compartment perfect for keys, phone etc. Absolutely love this bag - highly recommended!

True all rounder! Reviewed By Andrew, 09 Mar 2013

I love this bag! In fact, I love it so much that I bought two! I bought my first one as a daysack for trips up the hills. I loved it so much that I bought a second one as a commuter bag for walking/cycling to work and as a carry on bag. It is a good sized, well made practical pack. Ok, it may not be the best looking pack in the world but hey. If I was to be really picky, the only bad thing about this pack is that it doesn't come with a waterproof cover.

Great cycle to work daysack Reviewed By Rupert, 21 Feb 2013

I cycle or run to work and this has daysack been a winner. It has less compression straps and cargo netting than my last daysack and I'm pleased about that as they were unnecessary - so keep it simple wins here. Only criticism is that I've been thwacked in the ear by the chest strap when it's undone a couple of times whilst running. It has a great sall zipped compartment for the ipod as well as a more secure zipped mesh bag in the body of the daysack for the wallet and phone. I've not tried it on the hills yet but I have faith.

Good roomy, strong bag. Reviewed By Andrew, 14 Feb 2013

Decent bag, I got one a while ago while reduced.

Plenty of room and good zips (that don't tangle in the fabric unlike a certain other brand I had before).

The back pocket is big - room for a small SLR camera with a mid-length lens. (Be careful to zip such heavy stuff securely!)

The straps & chest strap can be set to a good tight fit too.

Very roomy rucksack for very good price Reviewed By Nicki, 25 Oct 2012

This rucksack is very capacious. I needed a bag that could accommodate a complete change of clothes and lunch to facilitate my walking to work and this does the job perfectly. The support gives it a very comfortable fit.

light, simple and efficient Reviewed By Hyun-Ah, 14 Sep 2012

I bought this for my friend (his birthday gift). I looked for a light, durable one with simple design & color (plus reasonable price). Low Alpine Orbit 30 was just right for my criteria.

Good quality bag Reviewed By Jimmy, 16 Jun 2012

For the reduced price of 25 pounds you cannot fault the bag. Did a 3 hour hiking with it and it was very comfortable. Every part of the bag looks like well made. The only criticism could be, it looks quiet sober(and boring probably). Personally I prefer sober looking stuff which is well made so this is perfect for me.

A good low tech pack at a good price Reviewed By Simon, 12 May 2012

I bought the Orbit 30 to replace my city pack. I like to keep my bike lights, and a couple of other much used items safely tucked away and the pack has a zipped inner pocket perfect for the job. The pack is light, so not a nuisance when nearly empty, and still comfortable when full.
The waist strap is narrow, and the pack is not for heavy duty use. One minor complaint is that two compartment zips are close together, and I often open the wrong one.
But a good and reasonably priced pack for everyday city use, and it is perfectly good as a low tech day pack for country walks too
