Bought this to go walking in the Alps this summer.Unfortunately like someone else reviewed, this jacket is not fit for purpose to take sudden heavy rain, I was wet through after just 10 mins walking-not what I wanted half way into my days walking & condensation soon built up inside. An expensive, but ideal light weight mac for packing for short walks (but not in the mountains!) Loved the colour though so it get 2 stars!

I hope this jacket has been improved since last year. I wanted a waterproof jacket, however no amount of treatments and spraying has improved its condition which is useless when you are out in the rain for longer than five minutes, it's lightweight in every way. A good mix of comfort and performance. Stylish neat fit and packs down very compact. Well finished and the violet colour is stunning.
