I managed to completely destroy the seams on my lovely tent by packing it away wet and forgetting to take it out again. So I used Silnet to re-do all the seams. It is a lengthy process but once you've prepared the tent, it's very easy to apply the seam sealer. I used about 3 tubes on my 3-man tent, but then I had to replace them ALL. It's also useful for sealing small holes. It dries clear and gives a nice finish, but obviously my tent doesn't look quite as smart as it used to. It is best to use the whole tube in one go because it's hard to clean the applicator brush once it has the silicone on. I haven't tested it's waterproofness yet, but have high hopes.
