I've been looking all summer for new Merrell Sandals, found at Cotsworld Newnham Ct, Maidstone. urgently needed them to take to New Zealand this Christmas. Wonderful first full day of wear - perfect fit and design.

Great all round walking sandal

Reviewed By , 28 Oct 2011

These sandals are extremely comfotable and versatile. Great for travelling in, walking on moderate to rough ground and generally lounging about in summer. Mine have done many miles of dog walking and trips to Uganda, Jordan and Morocco and are still going strong.

mostly good....

I've had these before,so had no qualms about buying another pair; they're instantly comfortable and give enough support for 3-4 miles over moderate terrain.
However, I think Merrell must have changed the sole composition, as I find them potentially lethal on wet surfaces - very slippy, and not confidence-giving.

I did not buy these to trek the Mugabe desert, just as comfortable footwear for the shopping centres(probably just as hard as the Mugabe desert!!)They were actually very comfortable even on the first outing.
