Fantastic Jacket Reviewed By Bradley, 16 Feb 2013

Fantastic Jacket... It has been worn throughout the winter for climbing, scrambling and general mountaineering.

The Jacket is very warm and extremely light but what surprised me the most was how compact it was when put in the stuff sack provided.

After reading a review regarding the durability of the material I was unsure whether to buy this jacket. I can now report that after 6 months of heavy use (wearing a harness and backpack) the jacket shows no signs of premature wear.

Overall I am very pleased, good quality product from Mountain Equipment as always! The fact that it is water resistant is an added bonus!

Practical and looks good too !! Reviewed By Mark, 07 Feb 2013

I've had a 'puffer ' jacket for many years and needed to update it . I was a bit dubious at first that the Mountain Equipment jacket was going to be as warm as my old jacket as it wasn't as thick , but having warn it a few times now I'm over the moon with it ! Not only is it as , if not , warmer than my old jacket , I also don't resemble a 'Michelin man ' any more ! It's very lightweight , stylish and the hood is a lot more substantial than its competitors (removable too ) . The sales assistant in the Cotswold store in Solihull was also very helpful and knowledgeable in the product . Overall , 100% pleased in purchase.

A carefully considered purchase. Reviewed By Peter, 21 Oct 2012

A great product, I am really looking forward to having the weather that justifies wearing it. Just trying it on was really "toasty". Very well made with nice features.

A realy reliable bit of kit, totaly wind proof, very water resistant and a great fit(s).Used for three years now and showing no signs of age.Last year used as a belay jacket in scotlad ice climbing. It had been snowing hard all day.The classic lightline, thanks to its water resistance, proved to be a great belay Jacket and is always the first thing i grab when the weather Turns cold

Excellent winter jacket Reviewed By , 30 Oct 2011

Very comfortable jacket, very fluffy feel. Looks great.
Warm and well made. Down well distributed.
Two large, zipped outside pockets. One large zipped inside pocket (vertical zip not very handy).
Detachable hood fits well and can easily be detached.
My size (M) slightly generous (which is good when wearing multiple layers under jacket).
Highly recommended.
