These are fantastic for winter walking. They are quite sturdy, so even in Scottish winter I only needed two pairs of thermals under them. The zip that goes to the top is brilliant for comfort breaks - very discrete and easy! Have worn them in the pouring rain and not got wet. Very pleased so far!
