Reliable, Resilient, Reusable Reviewed By Jessica , 21 Sep 2012

Such a fantastic piece of kit! I’ve used many different stoves in the past and this by far has been the best. I used it as an alternative to open fire cooking and it performed every time. I was out for 6 days at a time travelling by Kayak so space, weight and fuel economy were priority.

As said before it can flame up with the pressure valve, despite this, I had no dramas and used it around Children safely and through some pretty tough environments.

It’s an investment as the price tag suggests, but one that is thoroughly worth it.

Additionally - Getting the repair kit is essential. I’m by no means mechanically minded, but I was able to clean, fix and adapt the stove to my needs over a constant 4 month period and has – for sure - plenty of life left in it still.

What can i saw, Fantastic, MSR never fail.
Used this for backpacking across europe, when your not guaranteed gas canister etc, so the use of multiple fuels is great

Great stove but not for the faint hearted Reviewed By jonathan, 05 Jun 2012

This stove has stood the test of time and is still one of the best adventure stoves on the market. It is easy to maintain and despite its price tag and the requirement for a fuel bottle it is a really rugged and powerful little stove.

It can be primed in a number of ways but the best method I have found so far is to use 'Milton' hand wash gel as it is clean, simple and comes in a rugged little bottle.

I can some times flash up, if not used correctly so not a stove for young children or the inexperienced

Brilliant stove, used on both long distance walks and in mountains, Snowdonia, Scotland & Alps. Very light easily packed away, boils quickly and flame adjustable.

a real good stove Reviewed By Jason, 04 Mar 2012

seems to be a stove that can last a lifetime its not cheap plus you need to buy a fuel bottle and service kit, but you get what you pay for with this in terms of reliability and endurance this is up there with the best of them
