I treated an old fishing coat which needed re waterproofing and it is now like new.
The TX Direct spray on has given it a really good waterproof layer again which has saved me money in the long run

I bought this to reproof my mountain jacket and it worked a treat! It was quite messy to apply and left the floor with an odd slippy feeling but my jacket is now downpour-proof! I just hung my coat on a chair and sprayed it all over, spraying more in the seams and around the zip area.

I was recommended to use this product on my old waterproof jacket and trousers, which seemed to be letting the water in quite a lot nowadays. I was a bit sceptical, but thought I might as well give it a go and am amazed by the results. It really does do what it says - and I've certainly had lots of occasions to test my rewaterproofed garments in all this rain. So I would recommend this product- get the big size, as you need quite a lot, but it's well worth it and so much cheaper than buying new waterproofs. It has even made my daughter's very cheap coat as good as any expensive brand. Only downside is an initial "vinegar" smell on the garments, but this soon wears off once worn.

This stuff is great. I've found that if I hang my jacket up on a hanger on the clothes line to spray it, it's easy to cover everything and the excess just drips off.
