The Corax is the multi-purpose harness par excellence.


Excellent gear-racking options and adjustability make the Corax perfect for long routes, ice climbing, glacier travel and via ferrata. Dual waist belt buckles accommodate a wide range of layering options, allowing easy centreing of the tie-in and gear loops whether worn over a T-shirt or a thick fleece. Adjustable leg loops also allow size to be adjusted depending on comfort desired or layers of clothing worn, and permit the harness to be put on when wearing skis or crampons. Frame Construction Technology optimally distributes pressure and ensures efficient ventilation for even greater long-route comfort.


Rigid front gear loops provide quick and easy access to your gear, while soft rear loops are more comfortable when you're wearing a pack; slots for attaching Petzl Caritools (not included) allow a modular approach to adding extra racking options for your winter ironmongery, but are unobtrusive when not in use.

The Petxl Corax is a great jack of all trades harness.

I've used it for about six months now, usually at least twice a week, for sport and trad climbing and it isn't showing any signs of wear.

It's comfortable, easy to put on and adjust and the rigid gear loops make racking and accessing gear stress free.

Adding a reasonable price tag and Petzl reliability makes it a no brainer!

Really pleased with it! Used it a few times now and it's comfy and vey simple to adjust.

Plenty of gear loops too.

Are you a climber who's looking to do all types of climbing, ie: sport, trad, via ferrata ... This is an excellent item to purchase. I have bought 4 of them two years ago, and yet they are perfectly comfortable and in condition for all climbing needs. Bare in mind also that i climb nearlly every week. This is a GREAT harness. Recommended.
