If you want a stove that will pack down small with little compromise this is a safe bet. An alpine style stove so keeps out of the wind, has a wind shield for extra protection(but no need to take it if you want a lighter load), and a pre-heat tube so you can use it in the real cold. The pan has a heat exchange system so 50% more efficient and a quicker more even boil. Could it have a down side, unfortunately yes, first it does pack down small but you can only pack a 110g gas in it, not a massive problem though as it's more efficient. The major down side is it has a big circular base, so finding flat ground to place it is more important. Overall though it's a great stove being small, but big enough to cook a meal for 2 people with no problem, maybe even 3.
