That just about sums it up, its expensive but I think its the best suited for its purpose at the moment.
I got a sum of money as a leaving present from my last job and thought that I would buy something that I wouldn't normally get but would keep for a while to remind me of them, this was it.
The stove is a great all round stove, using the gas, pretty much all that you would want in the UK is fine and this is how the stove comes packaged to use (it is a little overkill if this is all your using it for). Simple altering (who doesn't like this aspect of this kind of kit!) is all that is needed to put into place the other nozzles. ( I copied and laminated the instructions that described what was the best one to use for which fuel type and put it in the case, this forms a quick handy 2" field guide)
Priming the stove is easy and I have never had any need for anything other than the fuel used in the bottle. But I have not used it in anything that is that cold yet. (No lower than 5 degrees)
The accompanying wind shield is good, nothing more needs adding but its nice to have one included.
Overall this is a great kit lovers piece of kit, you can tinker, mod a little, it works very well all the time, its fairly light, stable, versatile.
It is however a little noisy but some after market silencers are available, I have yet to try one.
I would also like a gas canister inverter included in the kit.
Would I buy one again / recommend it? Yes defo!
