Awesome Jacket with 1 issue Reviewed By spencer, 24 Jan 2013

This jacket has a great fit, very waterproof and is as tough as nails. I cannot fault this jacket other than 1 thing. In the space of 18 months i have had 3 of them, my first 2 had the Event material Delaminate inside the pockets. They had not been heavily used either. Rab customer services are absolutely fantastic though and i received a replacement straight away no questions. Regardless of these issues i still believe the jacket deserves a high rating and i have put the issue down to me possibly getting part of a faulty batch

Awesome jacket Reviewed By Robin, 18 Jan 2013

Bulletproof waterproof jacket that can take as much weather as you can throw at it. Vents really well so you don't over hear. The peak is just right in a down pour even when it feels like the rain is coming from all angles.

Cracking piece of kit Reviewed By Barry, 22 Oct 2012

This really is a superb jacket. Rab has established a reputation as the Rolls Royce of outdoor clothing - and deservedly so. This is a well thought out piece of equipment; lightweight but rugged and well designed for walking or carrying a rucksack. It has excellent breathability and waterproofing in equal measure, it really is a great all rounder.

bombproof in the rain Reviewed By alex, 14 Sep 2012

I've had this jacket a few years now and it goes everywhere with me if there's any hint of bad weather. Been in monsoon style rains where it hasn't leaked at all and been snug as a bug. Bombproof!!

Quality Outdoor Jacket Reviewed By Angelo, 21 Aug 2012

A little more expensive compared to other waterproof jackets but worth it. You get what you pay for. Hood seems strange at first but it is very sturdy and shelters you from wind. Internal pockets are big enough to fit a waterproof map. Other jackets I tried on could only fit a standard map so something to bear in mind. Tested it out in the Brcon Beacons in challenging weather and it lived up to all expectations. Another excellent feature is that it is very lightweight.

Superb jacket. Reviewed By Alex, 07 Apr 2012

This is really light, packs well, is surprisingly tough and completely waterproof. It has a fairly high cut on the waist (which I like).

Best Waterproof Jacket I Have Reviewed By Thomas, 05 Jan 2012

Lightwieght, breathable, great hood and so far very sturdy despite the light weight. Completely waterproof in all weathers. When going out in really wet conditions this is the one I reach for.
The only fault I've encountered is the plastic snap fastener at the bottom of the main zip. this came apart. Rather than be without the jacket I replaced it with a sturdy brass fastener and the problem went away. I have these plastic fasteners on several jackets and now have a supply of brass ones in case of failures.
Come on Rab how about putting a decent one on in the first place.
Otherwise a perfect jacket.

Excellent jacket Reviewed By Samuel, 04 Jan 2012

When buying a brand like Rab you expect a certain level of quality and this jacket certainly meets these expectations.

Firstly, though it only has 2 external pockets i found them large enough to hold a map and a pair of thick winter gloves, I also didnt have any problem accesing the pockets even when wearing a bag. There are also 2 interior mesh pockets that are fairly large. The hood fits well and doesn't impeed vision, aswell as being able to roll it down and secure it with a velcro strap.

The jacket packs down into a small size and is fairly light weight if backpacking or travelling light. I found It to be great even in driving rain and it allowed the sweat out even on the my back with a bag on.
