Ultra lightweight and packable, narrow baffled down jacket which, unbelievably, stuffs into its own chest pocket!   Low bulk means it's great as a mid or outer layer, and the Pertex Microlight fabric is lightweight, packable and windproof. Narrow baffle structure stabilises the 125g (size L) of 750 fill European goose down to offer fantastic levels of warmth for the weight.   Ideal for fast and light activities, from Alpine climbing to mountain marathon use but also great for lightweight backpacking and for regular casual use.

Fabulous lightweight, warm and cosy jacket Reviewed By , 31 Mar 2013

I recently visited Cotswold Outdoor in Liverpool. I needed assistance as I was buying for my husband. As I was alone a young assistant known as Will was very willing to assist me when I approached him. I could not gauge which size Microlight would be the best fit so Will was good enough to model the jacket at my request. This really helped me to make a decision on which size to buy. I thanked Will for his time and patience and made my purchase. To my delight and surprise I was also given a 10% discount as I had previously bought from Cotwold Outdoor. Now I have my 'Explore more' card so that whenever I shop I will get a discount at the store. I am pleased to say that the jacket fits my husband really well and he loves the colour I chose: Navy with red zips - good for all year round wear.
