Streamlined and slim fitting, the amazingly comfortable Mens Vapour-Rise Lite Alpine Jacket from Rab is highly breathable but also offers excellent protection from the elements: exactly what you need in an alpine-ready softshell .

Lightweight Pertex Equilibrium fabric is not only wind and water-resistant, but also allows moisture to move away from the skin to keep you dry inside when you are working hard. Features include a two-way zip with internal storm flap as well as an adjustable hem drawcord and Velcro cuffs for a closer fit. Two zipped chest pockets and 1 internal pocket means you can keep your essentials close to your body.

Great piece of kit either treking in the outdoors or up on the roof where i earn my living.Extremely windproof and cosy, love the wired peak and adjustment's that make it snug.A light jacket with great wicking qualities that has saved me on numerous weekends and during the week when i've been in situations where i've got no choice but to stay on the roof to get it watertight. Tough allrounder.

Got four of these branded with our work logo, mainly for use during fieldwork on the beach as well as mountain activities. It's very lightweight but the fabric is good quality. The pockets are a decent size and the cut allows easy access to trouser/short pockets. Love the wired hood - missing on so many jackets, allowing real control over the hood fit. Worn through a number a heavy rain showers and kept me dry and warm with no problem.

Wouldn't stand up to heavy, persistent rain, both otherwise a top buy.

Incredibly comfortable jacket.Very light and well able to keep the elements out.Brilliant hood with good adjustments.Plenty pockets for storage.Highly recommended for all around use.
