Exclusive to Cotswold Outdoor, the Women's Latok Trek Jacket is a light yet rugged all-rounder with an alpine pedigree.

The peaked hood is fully adjustable to fit whether or not you're wearing a helmet and if you're wearing a harness or a rucksack you'll appreciate the easily accessible A-line chest pockets. A water resistant zip with internal storm flap complements the uncluttered, simple lines of the Latok Trek. The Ripstop 3 layer eVent fabric is waterproof, extremely breathable and robust enough for your mountain adventures but light enough to stow in your pack for summer hillwalking.

Great Price for a fine jacket

Reviewed By Debbie, 26 Feb 2012

I purchased this jacket in Sept 2010 and have used it constantly on my cliff walks.

It is an excellent windbreak, either on it's own on warmer days or layered for the nippier days.

Rain beads beautifully in the jacket, keeping the wearer warm and toasty inside. It has even protected my mobile from the elements. Since I have used it so much it does need to be re-waterproofed but it has stood up well.

The hood is adjustable and stays put even in gale force winds.

Now that the jacket is on offer it is really a great bargain!

The only reason that I didn't give the product 5 stars is that the neck on this jacket is fiddly and can feel uncomfortable when the hood is not being worn. Since I live in windy and wet Wales this hasn't been that big a problem for me!

I must agree...

Reviewed By Jill, 14 Feb 2012

It must be restated that this jacket has no obvious lining as it is 3-ply event, the lining is built into this. It has two interior pocjkets large enough for OS maps, and is very light and very dry (that large collar keeps you dry). Anyone with knowledge of its intended use as a 'trekking' jacket will understand that this coat has many great features and is worth well more than the 1 star given.

A great jacket!

Reviewed By catherine, 05 Feb 2012

This RAB jacket looks great and is also extremely durable. It is made of eVent material which is completely waterproof, it also lightweight and could be used throughout the year. I have had no problems with this jacket and i have no doubt it will last for many years, in all conditions. With regards to the last review, there is an inside pocket and also the neck is made as windbuff and is therefore slightly bigger however with the hood up there are no problems. A great bargain for £120.

Not technically a review...

Reviewed By Mhairi, 05 Feb 2012

I don't own this jacket, but do have many other items from Rab and just had to step up to defend this jackets' honour!!!

This jacket is made from 3 layer event...lining would entirely defeat the purpose. Being an alpine jacket, it is as minimalist as possible to keep down on weight.

I understand that the jacket may not be the right one for the above reviewer, but I highly doubt it deserves 1 star :)

Very disappointing buy.

Reviewed By Lynne , 25 Jan 2012

I have bought Rab outdoor clothing before but this jacket was very disappointing. I bought it in the sale and returned it to my nearest shop. The neck is clumsy and uncomfortable if not fully done up and the jacket is just so basic. No lining or interior pockets. Instead I bought a Berghaus Long Glissaade. Brilliant, a quality product.
