The times when classic climbers had to squeeze their feet into asymmetric-cut high end Velcro shoes are gone. Those shoes were easy to put on but had nothing to offer except for a bad fit and sore feet. Here comes Red Chili's latest weapon against hurting feet: the Spirit VCR Impact Zone. A neat and very comfortable shoe, built on slightly asymmetric lasts, it provides perfect support even on micro steps. It comes with a two-piece tongue for easy access and three Velcro straps, which provide maximum support for every foot and open fast and wide. Moreover Red Chili added an EVA heel wedge for comfortable stand while belaying and for shock absorption on hard landings at bouldering, named 'Impact Zone Shock Absorbing System'.

Great all round shoe Reviewed By Kyle, 14 Oct 2012

I first bought these in the mind of indoor climbing. However, since then I have climbed outdoors trad and bouldering and every time they have outdone themselves. apart from being a bit difficult to smear with, in my eyes, they are the ultimate, affordable climbing shoe. the Other day I was in them for over 6 hours and my feet were completely fine and 'un-cramped' using them from 4a to 7a. awesome shoes!

Comfort and responsive feel! Reviewed By John, 06 Apr 2012

I bought these after trying on many, many pairs of climbing shoes. I have climbed for over ten years and these shoes really do the job well for me.
Red Chilli do have a reputation of splitting around the sole, but I have used mine a lot, and there is no sign of damage.
The fit is snug yet comfortable. I dont take them off for hours whilst i'm climbing and my feet feel fine after.
Styled well, fit great, and plenty of feel on the toe edge. Great all round climbing shoe!

Comfortable all rounder Reviewed By Mark, 08 Dec 2011

A great workhorse that can be worn for all day comfort at the wall or crag or cinch it tight for pushing those grades. I've used them bouldering and at the wall, where the velcro means they can be loosened and tightened quickly and easily, through multi pitch climbing and on long Alpine rock routes. They quickly stretched and moulded to my foot shape and size and, despite heavy use, are showing little sign of wear.
