Disapointed Reviewed By Georgina , 20 May 2013

I read the great reviews on these boots both here and on another website and purchased them. They have been comfortable and give great support, however having tried them out on a particularly rainy day on the 3 peaks in Yorkshire they were not waterproof. I thought perhaps it was the weather but other walkers feet remained dry whilst mine where getting there own jacuzzi going. If you are after a pair of boots to walk the dog in, they are great. If you are doing some serious walking in bad weather I would not recommend them.

Perfect Support Reviewed By Janet, 01 May 2013

My old boots finally died after fifteen years, and everyone told me things have moved on in the boot world during that time, so I was bewildered by the choices offered. I was given excellent advice and service by the assistant at the Cotswold Plymouth store, and found these boots perfect for my 60 year old feet. There is plenty of room around my toes, lots of ankle support and the inner soles are incredibly comfortable. I had been cutting down on my walking time due to aching feet, but with these boots I am inspired to plan longer outings and go much further.

Best boots so far! Reviewed By Linda Marie, 17 Apr 2013

I bought a pair of Salomon X Tempo last year to walk the Camino de Santiago, and loved them so much that when they needed replacing, I was determined to get a specific pair of Salomons. The Chester branch didn't have them in stock in my size, but the very knowledgeable assistant invited me to try some similar boots and also a few other brands, to make sure I made the right decision. As soon as I tried these I knew they were right for me. They are stable, comfy straight out of the box, lightweight, with great suspension for road walking as well as good grip on rocky ground. A good quality boot, I can't wait to go walking in them!

High expections....and they were met! Reviewed By Deborah, 14 Apr 2013

Bought for general walking and a forthcoming trip to the Lake District. Already tested on 1/2 hour walks, and what a dream! You don't even know you have them on. Although absolutely vital to get your feet measured properly, and therefore want to mention the extremely helpful sales person at Coltswold who gave me such valuable tips!. Salomon are popular, and good quality, however not for everyones foot! However both me and husband are now Salomon fans as brand is so reliable.

Really great boot, comfortable and practical. Reviewed By Shelley, 29 Sep 2012

I recently purchased this boot after trying on about 10 different types! I am so glad I chose this particular one, it is both practical and comfortable for both every day use and also for more strenuous hill walking. Would highly recommend this boot.
