I use my sealskinz all the time, whether at work, home or out and about. I work in the marine industry which can involve harsh conditions for your hands but these gloves are excellent. Great for fiddly bits and the grip is great on larger items. When out and about they stand up to all weather conditions (I did buy a pair of sealskinz layering gloves to go inside). To test them when i first got them I put them under a tap and filled them with water, not one leak so yes 100% waterproof.

I've had my Ultra grip sealskinz for 2 years and despite use and abuse they still look new. I can do up and undo my jacket and the kids jackets, without having to take them off. De-icing the car or rummaging around in my rucksack for a snack, are easy to do without removing my gloves. In very cold weather on top of Ben Nevis, they are only warm enough on the move. If you're planning on standing still for 10 minutes and admiring the view they probably will not be warm enough. Having said that I LOVE THEM!
