Warm, dry, comfortable to wear, smart in appearance, (did try for size before buying!), this hat affords my husband superb protection and the flexible peak shields his eyes from brightness, particularly useful for photography!

Try one on before buying, for the marked sizes do not meet the width of the head. In saying that though, one you get one that fits correctly, you wont go wrong with it. Wind & Waterproof and if you have one that fits correctly, the flaps can tucked inside for a baseball cap type look. It is an excellent and versatile hat. JUST CHECK THE SIZES!

Bought this and although not had a chance to test in torrential downpour yet it is great to be able to wear this hat all day without constantly needing to put a hood up and down. My only criticism is that I cant find where to hook the ears to if I don't want these down.

Being in the military i have tried a variety of warm hats, do not get me wrong,i cant fault this one, but something about the low alpine version that draws me to it, i state again though, there is not a noticeable difference between the two in my opinion.
