The fully adjustable hood with a single hand cinchcord stows into the collar. The chin guard is brushed lined for added comfort. Pit zips increase ventilation and heat and moisture management. Worth the extra bucks!

Picked up this jacket today at my local branch after visiting the shop the day before. I got the low down on all of the types of jackets in store from a very clued up sales person. I already have a north face paclight shell. But wanted a jacket to cope with every day winter walking. It's the warmest jacket I have ever owned with the removable down inner jacket. So your getting 2 bits of kit. It has a great hood lots of pockets and even has the zip vents under the arms. I bought this as a 40th pressie to myself with the vouchers I got. So didn't dent my pocket to hard. This will last years!! Quality!
