A form fitting, four-way stretch glove, the E-Tip gives you maximum dexterity for use with touchscreen and click-wheel gadgets. Smartphones, tablets, GPS and MP3 players can all be used without the need for freezing your hands off!

The silicone grip pattern has been used to give the glove great grip abilities across the palm. Whatever you need to grip - ropes, poles, a dog lead, horse reins, ice axes, your après ski drink - will never slip loose again.

These are quite simply the worst gloves I've ever owned. The first pair fell apart in the first week i owned them. Cotswold were great about swapping them for a new pair.

Yeah you may be able to use your touch screen while wearing them but they do nothing about keeping your hands warm. You may as well not wear them in the first place. If you want my advice DO NOT BUY

I've normally found everyday gloves to fall short of ideal in three ways. First, they do not work with certain touchscreen devices without poking a hole in them. Obviously, this is no hurdle here.

Secondly, the standard glove does an unsatisfactory job insulating from the harsher of winter weathers. Again, this glove does a decent job. Thanks to the eTip as well, there is no need to take off the glove to use a phone, tablet etc [see above].

Finally, and related to the second point; I've normally found that gloves that can insulate well are too bulky, removing all practical use of one's hand. These gloves are as sleek as you can get however, and I retain sufficient mobility in the hand to perform everyday tasks, as one would wish a hand to do.

All in all, it's an excellent glove. I would have been happier to pay £25, not £30, however, given it is a glove, after all. This is especially the case given the glove's USP presupposes one has already purchased a fairly expensive Apple / Tablet device!

I bought these in store at Salisbury while I was visiting. The staff were friendly and helped me in choosing them. After trying them on to test out with my iPhone I was very impressed. I can accurately use the touch screen menus without a problem they are very handy for when I'm out and about. Just have to remember that I have them on my hands instead of trying to take them off.

I have had numerous gloves from different manufacturers and all had the same problem, you have to take them of the use any touch screen device e.g. mobile phone, GPS device or tablet computer. So when I saw the North Face Tip Gloves I was over the moon. These gloves are excellent and enable me to use my mobile and GPS device without having to tak them off. No more faffing with gloves and my iphone! These comfortable gloves give full control of my touch screen phone and work very well even when my phone is in its ortlieb case, safe and dry....
