Tough, Long Lasting Reviewed By Simon, 08 Feb 2013

These are great for durability. I find the normal pockets far too deep to place anything in apart from your hands but the trouser the selfs are comfy, durable and look great both and and off the hill. The zips are colour coded as per most North Face gear which makes the legs easy to put back on.

Too Baggy Reviewed By James, 17 Oct 2012

I'm a standard 32 inch waist. 6ft tall, 12.5 stone. The small is too small, the medium is too large. They are far too baggy. They flap around in the wind. When they are wet they get heavy and irritating. Poor.

Versatile and with pockets in all the right places Reviewed By Frederick, 21 Aug 2012

These are comfy and flexible trousers with plenty of pockets. Some pockets have a zip for added security. The zip off lower leg makes them into instant shorts. What's more they look good.

Excellent Trousers Reviewed By D, 20 Jun 2012

I needed a 'corporate look' for working as a contractor in an arid environment. Always worn MH Canyons in the past (15+years) but they're not easily found in UK these days. Found the Paramounts, bought 2 and matched them with 2 TNF L/S Sequoia Shirts, all in Dune Beige. Excellent product. Bit baggy but, as a rugby player, they fit my legs well. In a hot climate the extra room provides additional air circulation and comfort. Ditch the belt, its almost as though TNF expect you to, hence the good size additional loops.

ultimate alround trousers Reviewed By Robert, 03 Mar 2012

Now owned these trousers for a year and they are still going strong. Great build quality results in them being as good today as they were when bought. They are a very good pair of trousers for a modern life, use them around town and beyond. they never fail.

Fantastic Trousers Reviewed By Paul, 19 Aug 2011

Real nice fit and the look great on the hills and traveling.
I zip of and wear the shorts 24/7 as they are that good. When the wind picks up just zip the legs on using the fantastic colour coded guide.
Nice to have thigh pockets that are actualy on the thigh!
Would be better to have zipped rear pockets though.
Wore these the other day for a bike ride and got chain oil over one of the pockets. Got home and scrubbed it right off and left no marks!

Good but Baggy Reviewed By Paul , 16 Aug 2011

Good points = lightweight, tough, big pockets. Bad points = too baggy around the legs (I have big legs), material is quite rough. All round pretty good trousers but I find them annoying when wet as they are just too baggy and feel uncomfortable.

Nice pants! Reviewed By Simon, 22 Jun 2011

Bought these for walking and they're really comfy, lightweight and easy to change to shorts. Agree with other comment about belt - noticed that after they've been washed the belt sticks :(

Nice pair of converts Reviewed By Steven, 03 May 2011

Really useful set of trousers that are obviously built to last. The material is rugged and treated with a water proofing agent that makes the water bead off. Use them predominately when I got out scrambling and they do the job nicely. Colour coded zips help when you're putting the legs back on. The included belt isn't the best and can come undone easily, but is very easily replaced. The pockets are a good size too and can fit the essentials in them nicely.
