It may be called a Lightpacker but that doesn't mean it's lightweight in terms of build or features.

Building on their long heritage of high-mountain experience and technical innovation, the North Face have created a fantastic hill and mountain all rounder for demanding terrain. Italian design and craftsmanship combine with modern materials to make a waterproof, breathable, lightweight boot offering excellent cushioning and support.

The upper is constructed in suede leather and extremely durable Panatex ballistic textile, lined with a Gore-Tex Performance membrane. Underfoot and within the body of the boot, EVA cushioning and a variety of carefully tuned supportive components control the flex and feedback from the ground beneath, with a Vibram Masai outsole providing excellent traction.

So, in wet conditions or dry, on hot days or cold, covering hard ground or soft, the Verbera Lightpacker has all you need to stay comfortable, supported and protected.

Lightweight comfortable Reviewed By , 03 Feb 2013

The Verbera Lightweights are oe of the best boots I've used for ages. Comfort straight from the box, vibram soles for grip performance and lightweight for long days on foot.
I use them from highland walking and foreign travel.
Intuitive and secure foot hold when uphill/downhill hiking and no hot spots after 4 days on the hill says it all.
I am normally a Meindl boot fan but these are a very close second when a fuller leather boot isn't required.
You can also get away with the boots when wearing pair of jeans around the town so they are versatile and good looking too.
Thumbs up from me

Can tackle anything Reviewed By Michael, 14 Oct 2012

I bought these after and extensive session in the Betws-y-coed store where I tried everything on. Having had them on for about 2 hours my feet still felt comfortable. The next day I tackled Snowdon (went for something easy to break them in). After 6 hours of easy walking they were solid and light. My feet had no signs of blistering and the boots felt like robust slippers. A week later I decided to challenge myself and the boots. Tryfan in the wet!! The Vibram soles stuck to the rocks like glue, I felt safe and secure on the exposed scrambles. Having waterproofed them after the previous weeks session up Snowdon I was keen to see how long they would keep me dry. After tackling Tryfan I was soaked but my feet still dry. Continuing through the Glyders to Devils Kitchen they continued to grip, support and fit comfortably. Then as the heavens really opened up I slogged it down though the cascading water at Devils kitchen.

At the end of this adventure, I was soaked, my feet were very dry, warm and comfortable The Gore-tex lining helping to keep the feet vented and dry. These are the boots I enjoy wearing so much that I plan to be in the hills every week. North Face are the brand you can trust when you are on the side of a mountain in all weather.

Outstanding boots! Reviewed By Renny, 28 Jun 2012

Trialed my new Verberas straight out of the box on a wet hike up the steep and formidably boggy Cruach Ardrain (and then Beinn Tulaichean, for good measure) last weekend.

A grippy vibram sole, excellent toe fit and a sensible footprint provides confidence for scrambling and rough terrain. Superb scuff protection and generous ankle support backs that up. The fit and lining left me without a single blister, and after seven hours trudging through bogs, I couldn't fault the waterproofing either.

A boot that feels as good as it looks.

Excellent boots Reviewed By mike, 03 May 2012

There an excellent all round boot, great support, didn't take long to break them in and you can walk for miles in them and not feel it at the end!
