The Men’s Venture ½ Zip Pants are a light-weight, heavy-weight foul weather contender. Constructed from HyVent™ fabric (considered to be a 2.5 layer fabric with added durability and comfort), this ½ zip over trouser from The North Face easily pulls on over boots. The nylon Ripstop fabric is so light and compressible, fits securely with an elasticated waist with drawcord. With the Venture Pant, you’ll never have to debate with yourself again whether to pack waterproof trousers even when the sun is shining.

Yes, these are great to stow away in your pack. Extremely lightweight.... However, the waist cord is very short and looks like an afterthought... the main problem is the lack of breathability. I have worn these on 5 occasions now and on the last wear, I was out in relative cold conditions and on removal, they were soaking wet from body heat. I expected more from TNF
