The North Face Women’s Brooklyn Jacket is a city-styled, deceptively technical insulated coat for cold weather.

The HyVent body shell is weatherproof – waterproof, breathable and seam sealed – so it protects the lofty 550 fill goose down inside, and the faux fur trim on the insulated hood is detachable. A two-way centre zip with snap down closures keeps the draughts out, and an attached fabric belt with a metal buckle allows you to cinch it for more warmth, as well as adding classic styling detail. Inside there is a useful security pocket and soft, attached fleece in the cuffs.

The North Face Women’s Brooklyn Jacket is a down coat that offers top-down warmth and great styling to ward off biting winter chills.

I found this product to be asbolutely perfect for me. It fits exactly in all the right places (including the arms and hood)and looks absolutely fab. The belt also gives it that extra bit of style and helps keep things snug. It is so warm and cosy and even the hood looks good. I love this coat it is absolutely perfect in every way. It is especially good for short people like myself.

I bought this coat last year after reading the reviews as I really feel the cold. I am 5th 1 inch and it's perfect in size for me without being oveowering. I love the pockets, the fit, the fact that's it's windproof however I still feel a bit cooler than i would like at times even on days that aren't
freezing. I have to admit at being surprised by this. I don't like to wear thick jumpers under coats and thought this was the answer. Slightly disappointed but overall it's a lovely coat.

Warm cosy weatherproof winter jacket. Love the snug wrist fit. The only improvement for me would be a volume adjuster on the hood; could this be fitted?

I agree with the other reviewer who was looking at the NF Arctic parka but found it too long and a bit shapeless. I had the same issue with that coat and felt really frumpy in it when I tried it on. Love this one - gorgeously warm but has more shape to it thanks to the belt, (which is a little high up on the waist but I can live with it). On the whole it's perfect for everyday wear in winter. Even looks good with skirts!

I wanted a mid-length, warm, waterproof coat that wouldn't swamp me - I am 5'3"- and this is the perfect match.

As I'm short, the arms are in reality a little long but as they have a cuff inside, they feel comfortable and don't slip over my wrists, unlike most other coats I have tried. The belt means it has a more flattering shape than other insulated options (being warm doesn't mean you have to look like a blimp) and it's going to be superb everyday winter coat. I will be using it for the school run, chilly days at the playground and being out and about with my kids but it's also nice enough to wear with smarter clothes too.

Practical, good looks and a quality brand. I looked high and low and I really couldn't find any better than this - I'm really pleased with it.

I can't wait for the cold weather to arrive, so that I can wear this fantastic coat.
It is both practical and stylish, being extremely warm yet not too bulky, and flattering with it's belted middle.
Often coats can be too long in the arms for me, but this coat is perfect, and also a great length in the body (I am 5ft 6)

After internet searching I was all set to buy a NF Arctic parka but found it too long and a bit shapeless. In contrast, this is a little fitted and a better length for me (I'm 5"5) but it still covers my bum which I wanted. I would normally buy a 12 (M), but it was a bit big and bought a 10(S) - found this with all the NF coats I tried on. Staff in store also very friendly. Only negative - I wish they'd put a nicer looking buckle on the belt.
