Now everyone's using touchscreen devices, The North Face E-Tip Glove is an essential bit of winter kit. A form fitting, four-way stretch glove, the E-Tip gives you maximum dexterity for use with touchscreen or click-wheel gadgets. Smartphones, tablets, GPS and MP3 players can all be used without the need for freezing your hands off!

The silicone grip pattern has been used to give the glove great grip abilities across the palm. Whatever you need to grip - ropes, poles, a dog lead, horse reins, ice axes, your après ski drink - will never slip loose again.

The North Face E-Tip Glove is ideal as a liner under your winter gloves: no need to freeze your fingers when you stop to answer your phone. In less frozen conditions, they can be worn solo to take the chill out of the air.

Great warm universal gloves Reviewed By Deborah, 18 Mar 2013

I had been considering buying these for some time but the price had put me off. I do a lot of endurance running and was struggling in the cold weather to answer my phone, change my music on my iPod or simply using the functions on my phone without taking my gloves off! I was browsing in store and again picked up the gloves as I had done on previous visits and thought this time to heck with the price I NEED this gloves - so I bought them and have never looked back - they are simply the best gloves I have ever bought. I have not taken them off since buying them. I run in them and walk in them and generally wear them all the time. They wash well and keep their shape - they are warm and when you use your smart phone it's like you're not wearing any gloves at all with the ease of movement the swiping of the screens and no hesitation when using the gloves for this - you don't have to press on the screen any harder than when you don't wear gloves.
Overall an excellent investment for someone who uses their smart technology in cold weather and doesn't want to take their gloves off!!!
I would definitely recommend this product over and over again.

Work well - but not that warm! Reviewed By Jonathan, 03 Dec 2012

I bought these gloves for myself and my wife. My hands are on the small side, so as I had no luck finding the men's version in small, I opted for medium in the women's version.

They fit well, have a decent grip and leave you with a good amount of dexterity and sensitivity in your fingers - zips, dog leads, tissues etc. are no problem. The e-tip works also works exceptionally well and works well on all devices with capacitive screens (i.e. all modern touchscreens).

The downside of these gloves is that they are simply not that warm in temperatures below, say, 3-5 degrees Celsius. When walking, I often find my index and middle fingers in particular getting a bit numb!

Overall I would say they are good gloves - fit well, allow you to keep some sensitivity in your hands, and the e-tip works as advertised.

However, as they are not that warm I would say these should be seen as spring/autumn gloves only, or for short winter trips.

have they not heard of multi touch features Reviewed By Ida, 25 Feb 2012

beware there are only 2 digits with etip on each hand. now if you need multi fingers gesture on ipad or iphone then this wont work. also it is not so well stitched up the etip portion is too small.it is comfortable but did north face actually do enough testing and market research for this product? i guess not
