I was fortunate to find this in a Cotswold Rock Bottom Outlet with a slight rip (which I later got repaired). It is fabulously warm and light. The length is great and the hood keeps the wind out with useful toggle tighteners. The pockets are zippered which is useful. It it fine in light showers and dries off quickly.

Perfect length for keeping really warm but without being bulky or heavy. Nice to have hood but good that it's detachable so coat can look smart for any occasion.

Bought this jacket as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it, she wants to go out just to be able to put it on. It's super warm and has the useful feature of being able to unzip the bottom making it easier to sit down. When we have been out and about the number of comments she has got asking her where she got it from and saying that it looks good and they would like one. At last the coat that ticks ALL the boxes! Its warm and practical for the mountains yet stylish and flattering in its cut to be worn over a dress in the evening. I bought the slate grey to get away from black. really pleased with my purchase!!

This coat is comfortable and warm, yet lightweight and very flattering. It's practical so it's great for walking the dog and the styling is so good that it's also smart enough for a shopping trip to town. bought for wife who loves it a bargain at the sale price, i bought the black one as the white is a kind of dirty looking white or off white when you see it in person.

I was in my local store (Durham) on Sunday and saw this great offer but I wanted a brown one and they had sold out. The staff were really helpful and they checked availability but the only brown one left in my size was at the Bristol store. I checked the website on Monday and again there was no Brown available so I rang the Bristol store at 5.50pm and they confirmed they had one left. The staff were great so I paid over the phone and it arrived wednesday in the post - what a fantastic service, great product and what a bargin! Love the coat and colour - its lovely and warm.Haven't seen one any cheaper.

I absolutely love, love this coat. It is lightweight yet very warm. I am a size 12 usually but found the small (10) fit perfectly, even with a jumper underneath. It is fitted so doesn't look bulgie at all. Fab bargain at £149 I have never seen them this low before. Staff at the cstore were very helpful. thsnks.

I tried the Artic Parka which was waterproof however it just looked a bit sack like, as did the Grace jacket. The Metropolis Parka is so light that you don't feel like you're wearing a coat. On the rack it doesn't look like it has much shape however it is really flattering once on. I'm normally a size 12 however i found the small fitted well and i can get a few base layers and a fleece underneath without it feeling too tight. So happy with it and know it will be well used!

Got this in white in the sale for my girlfriend as a surprise, she dropped hints whenever she saw another woman wearing one. We've just been out for a test walk in the cold and she says it's the cosiest coat ever. Looks good too, compliments her figure.

I ordered this for a forthcoming trip to Iceland. When it arrived, it seemed much thinner than I was expecting, and I wasn't sure how warm it would be. Fortunately we were then hit by snow, so I could put it through its paces. It is lovely and warm - despite its lightness. I got an XL - I'm a 14-16, and it is a bit big, but has room for extra layers underneath. Only downside (and it's minor) is it's very slippery - so my bag kept slipping off my shoulder!

Absolutely the best buy ever! I would recommend this to anyone who dont cope with cold too well (like me) and you will see that buying this jacket is money well spent. I bought this coat a few months ago and I must say it is absolutely wicked! It is knee length, has an adjustable hood, full length storm flap and is very light weight. I am a UK size 12 and wear a size medium, it is a comfortable "active" fit, not too baggy nor tight. It is perfect for everyday wear, whether in the city or out walking the dogs. It is NOT waterproof but will quickly dry if put in a tuble drier on a low setting.. Throw in a tennis ball and this will puff out the down filling. This coat is amazing, you got to have it.

I have been looking since last year for a cosy coat which comes down to my knees and have found very few to my taste. This parka is very flattering and doesn't make me look frumpy like others I have tried on, plus it should keep me warm even if we have a temperature drop like last year. The pockets are nice and deep with a soft lining. Most other coats I've tried on have hoods which will blow down at the first puff of wind. This hood has elastic round it which can be tightened and means it will stay up in a gale. Bring on the cold weather!
