This jacket is functional, stylish and excellent value for money. The fit is very feminine both with and without layers underneath and doesn't make you look bulky like many waterproof jackets. The jacket is very waterproof and protects against the wind. The hood is nice and deep so that you can cover your whole head even with a hat on and it doesn't blow off easily in the wind. The jacket is lightweight and packs up very small so that you can easily take it on anywhere.

I've worn it in rain, snow and extremely windy conditions and have absolutely no complaints.

I have the insulated one in black and recently got the blue resolve jacket. I coach hockey and so they are great for standing around in rain and cold. I also do a lot of hill walking and again these jackets are great. I have been in some really heavy rain for hours and hours at a time and they have held up great. Also a nice fit.

Good value at the reduced price. I bought this jacket in the stone colour (weimaraner as Cotwold call it), only thing is the lining including at the neck/chin is cream colour which is going to look grubby quickly. Also the cuffs seem very wide

I bought this North Face Jacket for my ever so fashion conscious teenage daughter. She has a trip to the Lake Distrist this summer as a sixth form prefect to a year 7 group.

She particulary likes the fitted tailored cut of the jacket and the light fleece lining of the collar. As well as the stylish black colour, which she tells me will go with almost anything! From experience she had already worked out that the best type of jacket for hiking in the rain needs to be comfortable and water resistant.

The jacket is of a high quality construction with a full lining for extra warmth. It also has draw strings on the hem and hood with external pockets for your hands.

Only two things are missing and would be useful; these are an inside pocket and a stitched in loop for hanging the jacket up on a hook. But this isn't realy an issue on a jacket this cost effective.

I have a similar black waterproof jacket and trousers but wanted something more colorful for the summer. This jacket is perfect, it has everything you can ask for, comfortable, very nice fit, light, waterproof and colourful and at the moment its even £20 cheaper. A good feeling buy!!

I bought this jacket last weekend to have as a waterproof when I am out on my bike. It's brilliant bright colour is ideal to be seen, and its lightweight and airey too. I love it!

I purchased this jacket for my partner in pink to match her mini great colour its fantastic for when shes out and about in town with the children in the pushchair and when were out and about in the countryside and hills a proper Fantastic light weight waterproof jacket

Having got soaked in various coats in the rain recently, I have finally bought this 'properly waterproof' jacket! It is light, bright, well made, and colourful. It is warmer than I expected and the huge bonus is the height of the collar; it covers my mouth, which keeps me warm in a way other coats don't in the rain and snow. I love the fact that the hood folds away too. I should have bought this a long time ago!

Bought this jacket for my up-coming trek this summer. It's lightweight, waterproof, fits well, great colour (I've gone for the hot pink) by North Face and a bargain too! Only slight negative is the hood. But otherwise a good all round jacket.

Really happy with this jacket which was bought for walking and biking. However I love it so much I think it will be used as a regular everyday item. A lovely snug fit that is great for windy days, the colour is an added bonus, I so love pink!

like a lot of things just lately i am having lots of trouble buying clothers that fit the larger lady. this jacket would have been perfect to fit in the ruck sack as a spare or emergency coat. it is bright, light weight and compacts down easy, just i couldnt do it up and it was very snug on the shoulder and across the chest. oh lucky me. so i ended up with a mens coat, which is the same as the ladies but not in bright cheerful pink, and the arms are rather long, so no need for gloves. xl is a size 16, i am sorry to say i need an 18. otherwise i would have had the jacket. it did what it said on the label.

I wanted a lighter weight jacket to have in rucksack in case of rain. This fits the bill very well as its very light, but despite this provides a good level of water and wind protection. Its very comfortable to wear and also looks good with a good shape. On top of that its a great price, so what are you waiting for ?

This was bought for me as a gift by my sister, great price! It is really comfy and not too heavy for this time of year. Love the colour as it is nice and bright and not too girly. It is quite light and easily packed up for travelling. I love everything with a North Face logo. Thanks
