Want to share my enthusiasm...just returned from first weekend away and thoroughly delighted with this tent...

- DEFINITELY EXCELLENT VALUE
High quality tent according to other happy campers!
- TIME TO PUT UP
Reduced from 45mins to 30mins...took longer unpacking all the other goodies!
- SUPER QUALITY
Robust frame stood up to light/moderate winds and some heavy rain; looked very hard for leaks and there were none; very cosy!
- BENEFITS
Despite sleeping six, the tent can easily be put up by one adult.
- IMPROVEMENT
The main window has a super zip fastening, would be good to have this on other windows which had more basic clips; minor point.
- RISK
None identified.
OVERALL

EXCELLENT VALUE
Price matched with an online competitor.
TIME TO PUT UP
45mins (1 'inexperienced' adult and 2 'part-time' excited children aged 10 & 11); 20mins is feasible with practice.
SUPER QUALITY
Robust frame, simple peg/lock and hook systems, sturdy zips, neat door/curtain fixings, handy pockets.
BENEFITS
The 2-doors and bedroom compartments meant my children were really excited with THEIR new den/holiday home!
IMPROVEMENT
The sleeping compartments are quick to fix and have zipped doors, but the bedrooms are separated by hook fastenings, leading to some gaps (some more expensive tents may offer zip fastenings).
RISK
Not tried overnight yet, so none identified.
OVERALL

We recently bought the vango icarus 6oo,what a spacious, comfortable tent, alot different than our last experience camping with heavy rain each and every day. Now we dont have the worry of a leaking tent,with plenty of head room and see through windows, i can honestly say its now a pleasure camping. Thanks to the young man at Truro for all his help and knowledge.
