I have used this on a few occasions now and had a chance to put it through its paces in varying weather conditions. In a few months it has seen heavy winds, heavy rain, snow and sun and has dealt with it all brilliantly. I have never seen another tent so stable that can deal with heavy wind so well.
It is very quick to erect and take down, even in bad weather and the pitch in one design makes this easier again. The included 'y' pegs are incredibly strong and work great in solid and soft mud. The two small poles in the foot of the tent give just the right amount of extra room without taking up extra space or weight and thanks to this design, the tent can be pointed into heavy winds and the stream lined shape helps prevent it from taking too much of a beating.
The porch design in particular is very good as you can open a small portion on either side, leave a small section closed on either side to act as a wind break or roll it back all together, making it great to cook in, in all but the worst of weather. The porch is also designed so that a small triangle can be unzipped near the top of the porch to encourage air flow into the tent in warmer conditions. Room inside the porch is also excellent compared to other similar sized mountain tents.
The only negative I can think of is the weight and pack size but as soon as you unpack it you can see why this is, the materials in the tent feel very hard wearing and durable.
In just a few months it has proven it's worth and I don't regret buying it for one minute :).
