Great tent for the price Reviewed By Nikki, 26 Nov 2012

Used this to overnight in Coire Dobhain on Cairngorm at the end of November. Pitched in 3 inches of snow, with another 5 drifting in over night.

Stood up well to moderate-strong winds, felt completely bombproof. Easily fitted 2+dog+gear with room to spare, at a a weight that is easy to carry.

Double porches make all the difference - one for cooking, one for furry friend to hop in out.

Only niggle is the pole holding the porch canopy is right at eye level when you bend down to unzip the outer. That said, the learning curve was pretty fast after one poke in the eye!

Does exactly what was hoped for and more.

First impressions are of a sound product Reviewed By Robert, 17 Sep 2012

Whilst not tested in anger yet, first impressions are that the Terraquattro 3P is a sound 2-4 seasons tent for the money. Its not the lightest at 3.5kg but for a tent capable of withstanding some 4 season winds plus the room for c3 people (at a push 4 for one or two nights) it strikes me as good value. I have used quasars for 20+ years across the cold areas of the Northern Hemisphere so can recognise a good tent. The groundsheet in the TQ3P looks a little thin and is not held tightly in place by the pole system, however this strikes me as a sensible compromise. Of course there is no snow valance which can be very useful, but in snow one could compromise and pile up some snow to bridge the gap between the end of the fly and the ground. The inner is acceptable but a little baggy. The frame/pole system works well, seems solid and is easy to erect, though is reliant on the elasticated cord remaining intact in high winds. I like the double bell ends with one simple peg each as they give plenty of room for gear o/s of the main sleeping area. Overall, first impressions sound, intend to go wild camping on Dartmoor and further North as the snow starts to fall and the wind pickups - so will update then.

Superb Tent! Reviewed By VANESSA, 23 Jul 2012

We used this tent for our 1st Wild Camp of the season, on Dartmoor. We pitched it in minutes, the easiest tent we've ever pitched with a simple one piece pole system that sits outside the tent (no fiddly threading through tent material!) using elasticated bungees that simply clip around the poles. The inside of the tent is perfect for two adults with kit and one small dog. The ventilation system is excellent with dual porches at each end. Excellent weight and pack size too, with amble head height for tall people. Highly recommended.
