This cross season all-rounder has more EPS foam than other helmets, extended further down the sides and back of the lid for greater protection from side impact. It's still a lightweight option, however, and is easy to adjust when wearing gloves.

Fantastic Helmet
Reviewed By andrew, 15 Jan 2013

The Wild Country 360 helmet
This is a fantastic entry level helmet that incorporates superb functionality that would be expected on more expensive helmets. The helmet provides full 360 protection......Hence the name 360! The helmet is constructed using a plastic shell and Wild Country’s ‘Extended EPS system’.....hmmmm very fancy. To the average Joe this just means the helmet inner layer is constructed from expanded polystyrene which absorbs large shocks so this is good! If you are a bit clumsy like me and bash your head off of things then this helmet comes in handy.
The helmet is very robust and is standing up to a fair bit of my abuse. The helmet has some vents on the top to cool your head down when it is warmer. I found this really helpful when climbing with the helmet during the summer (Not that Scotland gets much of a summer) however nobody wants a sweaty head! The helmet also has a plastic clip that can be used for attaching a head torch which is very useful because I do some cave climbing.
In Scotland especially weight is everything. Because the majority of climbs do not have any bolts in Scotland, everything has to be carried up while climbing therefore the last thing you want is extra weight coming from your helmet. The 360 is a respectable 360 grams (There is definitely a recurring theme here with the 360 name). Although not the lightest helmet on the market it does however provide exceptional protection which is the reason for wearing a helmet.
A plus point about the 360 is that it looks quite stylish appose to some of the helmets available which really do leave you looking like a ‘helmet’ for a better choice of words. The adjustment of the helmet is really easy to use due to the wheel at the back of the helmet. There is no fuss with the adjustment of this helmet, it is quick and simple. However having said this do make sure to try this helmet on before buying it, like any helmet, because it does have a narrow design which may cause difficultly for people with wide heads. The helmet is hat friendly so it can be used during the winter season as well for ice climbing. The helmet comes in one size, a size 1 (21” – 24”).
Finally the price. I felt this helmet was worth the money, at £55 it is definitely a good buy. Well chuft.
Happy climbing all
