Just what I wanted Reviewed By Neil, 27 Mar 2013

I had an idea of a boot I wanted after many years experience but did not expect to find it all in the same package. This boot is really adaptable to varied conditions. Light, comfortable and agile for more easy treks. Also then able to cope with pretty much what is thrown at it on the hill in rougher terrain. Well recomended

As a Scout leader and after doing many hikes it was time for a upgrade, so after reading reviews online and a little research I had to try them for real so popped into Cotswold Norwich, wow what can a say from the off lightweight, secure and stable underfoot had to have them.

Highly recommend these boots

Would also like to thank the staff at the Norwich branch of Cotswold for their time.

Comfortable but not hard wearing Reviewed By , 06 Mar 2013

With two large sled dogs to exercise regularly around the Pembrokeshire coast path, I decided I wanted the best possible walking boots that I could buy. I read all the reviews, bit the bullet and parted with some seriously hard cash for a pair of foot ware. Probably the most comfortable, suportive boots I have ever worn, but after 6 months wear and great care, they have split on the uppers of both boots across the natural foot bend above the toes. At 56 I am not heavy on foot ware and expected a lot more life out of such a high rated pair of boots. Disapoionted.

Exceptional Reviewed By Timothy, 05 Mar 2013

I purchased these boots from the Preston Store last wednesday evening.
On the advice of Ben the sales asssisstant i wore the boots in the house at first then i went for a hour walk to check the fitting of the boot.

All felf fine and i was confident that when sunday came, i could wear them to go walking in the lakes.
In a 6 hour trek i had no issues at all, they were warm in the snow on the tops, so much grip in the ice when others were sliding about and you could see the water beading off the boots when my foot came out of the puddles!!
I'm so glad i spent the money on the boots and they seam worth every penny!!
Ben in the Preston store was superb, he spent 2 & half hours with me and my girlfriend in advising us and he was so patient when ww were un-decided on which boots felt the best. He is a credit to the company!!

Fabulous Reviewed By kainoa, 30 Jan 2013

When I bought these I had no idea how much I would grow to love them. I wear them every day, to work, and have been on many hikes with them, and there still going strong, although I've had to change the sole a few times. So comfortable and pleasurable to walk/work in. I love the colors to, I have the yellow and its kept its colors very well through mud, sweat and rain, hardly faded at all (unlike previous boots). Their a little pricey but if you have the extra cash, I highly recommend investing in these.

Funky boots Reviewed By Mark, 08 Jan 2013

I have been a fan of salomon boots ever since they first came onto the market. These boots are of the same high quality that I have got used to and in a natty colour too!
I wear these on a daily basis working in the outdoors and know that I will get at least a years wear and tear out of them.
Well worth the money....

Excellent Hiking boot Reviewed By Carwyn, 28 Nov 2012

I bought these boots to use for DofE, they fit and feel like a brilliant pair of trainers and give support to you ankle and foot, allowing you to walk long distance in comfort. And as a bonus the goretex material, will keep your feet dry even over multiple wet days of walking through the mountains. The contragrip outsole give plenty of grip on wet rocks and muddy hills. Overall a brilliant boot, and glad I had them in the mountains of Scotland.

Great Performance Boot Reviewed By Ciaran, 29 Sep 2012

Don't let the price tag put you off, these boots are very good. I just recently bought these and put them straight to test in Snowdonia. They were very comfortable, and were very good in the wet weather. Like the other reviewer, I'm off to Everest shortly so looking forward to seeing how they cope with the extreme terrain.

Great from the Off Reviewed By Alan, 18 Jun 2012

Having recently brought these boots, it was expecting to have some time where i would need to break them in. This however was not the case as they were extremely comfortable from the word GO! Its like wearing a pair of trainers that are really supportive! They give great grip on wet and dry surfaces, and the colour will at least help the rescue services find me if ever i need their help! Being a synthetic boot, here's hoping they last! Am off to Everest in October so i will give them a good test trekking to Base camp. All in all a great boot at a cost, but price matching offered by Cotswold Camping eases the finacial strain.

Fantastic Boots Reviewed By Mark, 21 May 2012

I brought these boots a few weeks ago knowing I needed a good pair of boots for my Duke of Edinburgh silver expedition that I completed this weekend just gone with explorer scouts. I wore them on a camp and at home to break them in but turns out I didn't need to be broken in! This weekend it was like wearing a pair of trainers I think this has something to do with the 4D system. they are completely water proof I had know problems at all with water. also they are so robust and comfortable on rough terrain. yeah I know that they have a hefty price tag but after buying them I have no regrets.

I absolutely recommend to anyone who is on the fence with these boots. Fantastic Buy!
