With Alpine style and rugged construction, the Cold Trail is an insulated, waterproof hiking jacket designed to keep you warm and dry, whatever the weather.

Very aptly named, the Cold Trail is perfect for chillier days in the hills. On top of that though, it's a great winter all-rounder, ideal for day-to-day use throughout the colder months. With a robust outer in Texapore 4x4 Oxford nylon, warm Polyfiber Fill insulation and technical styling, the Cold Trail shrugs off whatever your winter adventures may throw at it.

Whether you're carrying keys, wallet and phone, or compass, whistle and GPS, the Cold Trail's selection of pockets keeps your gear where you need it - as well as keeping your fingers toasty - and a large mesh inner pouch is big enough to house the detachable hood.

Good value
Reviewed By Alasdair, 26 Dec 2012

Bought the red and black version in store, great value with scout discount. Warm and waterproof ideal for being out with the kids

Excellent waterproof and warm jacket
Reviewed By Stephen, 05 Nov 2012

Excellent waterproof, the water just runs straight off the jacket.
Warmth, not the warmest but regulates body temperature very well and the jacket is large enough to wear extra layers and even down jackets underneath for extra warmth.
Velcro on the pockets can get a little annoying when wearing gloves and the hood doesn't close off the face from windy rain. Saying this it does provide good range of vision instead.

Warm and hill friendly

Great looking and warm can't wait to get into the hills.

Really a great all-round jacket

Bought this for general use. Great for keeping dry and warm. Loads of pockets for easy access for all the essential kit.
