Whatever the weather may try, keep yourself comfortable and warm

No matter what the weather may try, keep yourself comfortable with the Mountain Creek 3 in 1 Jacket from Jack Wolfskin.

While the simple, uncluttered lines of the jacket don't look out of place in the city, don't be fooled by appearances.

Beginning with the outer shell, this jacket is made in Texapore: tough, waterproof and breathable fabric to provide you with maximum protection from the winter weather, as well as shrugging off whatever knocks and scrapes you may throw at it! Beneath that shell is a warm, breathable Nanuk fleece. Together of course, these layers protect you from harsh winter conditions, but each layer can be worn as a jacket in its own right too. Zipped out, the fleece inner forms the perfect jacket for a bright, crisp autumn stroll. Without the fleece attached, the outer shell is a light, waterproof jacket to protect you from the wind and rain on warmer days. Even greater versatility comes from the detachable hood, which allows the jacket a simpler, stripped down look.

On exposed ridges, lowland paths or the daily commute, the Mountain Creek is all the jackets you need.

Brilliant city jacket for cold train stations
Reviewed By Mike, 02 Feb 2014

Probably not the intended use but commuting in and out of London can mean standing on wind-blown stations with just the office shirt and tie. This jacket makes waiting for the delayed 6:25 almost a pleasant experience. Warm for the platform, yet zip it down and you can stand pressed up to fellow commuter’s Penhaligon soaked armpit without perspiring in an unseemly manner. Aldo it doesn’t rustle and so no upsetting the city gent as he finishes his Times crossword.
I have been climbing and expeditioning for over 40 years and of all the mountain kit I have, Wolfskin have made a great jacket that fits the demands placed on it whilst getting to the office. Spiffing!
The people at Covent Garden were excellent.

Super warm and waterproof

Excellent jacket for winter, nice and warm with lined pockets to keep your hands warm- none of that business with plasticky cold pockets here.

It does lack breast pockets which is a downside, but has a very large map pocket instead.

My first Wolfskin jacket, but what a great buy. It is superb for weather protection in keeping me warm and waterproof at the same time. Its a quality fleece with a very versatile and lightweight outer skin. Looks great for outdoor activities and for wearing around the shops when smarter wear is needed. Terrific value and leads and top notch jacket overall.

Great Jacket
Reviewed By Jay, 04 Jan 2014

This is my first Jack Wolfskin Jacket that I have purchased. I don't like spending big money on clothes as I tend to do a lot of outdoors activities and they get wrecked after while; but I saw the price and read some good reviews so I thought I would invest in a good quality jacket. Instantly impressed with the fit of the jacket and how good it is for all types of weather conditions. I purchased the olive brown which looks very nice, i wasn't sure but the gamble was worth it. Also isnt too bulky so can be folded and put into a bag if necessary. The jacket seems durable and I think i can get a good amount of use from this. Good for outdoors activities or even just with a pair of jeans when you're out and about.

If you're as picky when buying jackets as me, I can confirm that this is a worthy investment and you can get a lot of good use from it. Big thumbs up from me!

After a couple of hours round the shops in Norwich I found this jacket which stood head and shoulders above the other products that I had seen at up to twice the price.
I have used this jacket now on Dartmoor and in Scotland in very cold and wet conditions and found it superb in all respects. Water runs off it and it is windproof and very warm.
I plan to have this item for many years but I will certainly look for Jack Wolfskin products next time.

Reviewed By Steven, 22 Dec 2013

This is my first Jack Wolfskin jacket and after a lot of shopping around and talking to the friendly staff at the Ipswich branch I went for the Mountain Creek 3 in 1. I have just got back from walking a section of Hadrians wall, the weather was at first dry but blustery, and cold. I felt comfortable and warm even when walking up steep gradients. The snow came down very quickly and heavily for the last quarter of the walk coming side ways in the strong wind. The jacket kept me dry through out the walk and really warm. I am very pleased with the performance of the jacket and recommend the product.

Perfect multi-functional jacket
Reviewed By Stephen, 13 Nov 2013

My first foray into decent winter jackets. 100% worth the money. With the fleece out it makes a perfect waterproof jacket regardless of the temperature. With the fleece in and coupled with the hand warmer pockets, this jacket is perfect for the winter. Sturdy zips and velcro and the detachable hood is a great addition. I echo the thoughts of others regarding the sizing and found that I needed a small when I am usually a medium. I took into account how many layers I may wear and felt that small still gave me enough room.

i don't particularly like big heavy jackets so i often go for lighter windbreaker jackets. This winter though i wanted something a little cosier, and opted for this one. It is extremely warm and weather protecting, yet doesn't weigh you down. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfy it is and is very well designed to fit you perfectly. It doesn't have loads of empty space around your abdomen like other jackets i have had yet it isn't restrictive in any way. Total bargain at the sale price.

Perfect Jacket for all weathers
Reviewed By anthony, 05 Nov 2012

Wanted to buy a winter jacket that would be both warm and water proof. And with the big selection in Cotswolds, it took me about 4 trips to finally decide. With the winter weather here in scotland, I needed something to protect me from wind, rain and snow, and once again this Jack Wolfskin jacket has delivered on its usual excellant quality. Its surprisingly warm with the fleece, and when done up, you can't feel even so much as a breeze.

I bought this jacket on the day of a snow storm, and knew immediately i'd picked the right jacket. With the price being £100 off, it fitted my budget well, and I know i've bought a jacket that'll last many years.

I can't recommend JW jackets/jumpers highly enough, and after a few extremely rough winters in the north scotland, I doubt i'd ever try any other brand :)

Great all round jacket
Reviewed By Jonathan, 26 Sep 2012

This bad boy has seen pretty much every aspect of British weather over the passed month and did it's job in all of it!

The fleece is a nice tight fit on its own, feels very nice and soft and keeps you nice and toasty.

The shell is very breathable and feels like the fabric will stand the test of time. While carrying a rucksack on hikes it never felt restrictive or like sweat was building up at contact points with the rucksack. The hood has a very sturdy peak and can be tightened pretty much into a hat, which I thought was a nice touch. Oh, and after 8 hours of hiking in the rain I came out dry.

With the two jackets combined it makes for a stylish day to day jacket that will keep you dry and warm in this lovely summer weather!

PS, I'd advise trying this on first or measuring carefully. I needed a Small, a size I haven't worn in other clothing for many years!

Was looking for a replacement anorak/jacket which would keep me warm and dry and had a decent hood. I was also pleased that it is a good length covering the lower part of the body, not just below the waist as many others do. The colour is a little different from the usual black or khaki as with other brands and I feel has more style to it than it's competitors.

So this product is from Jack Wolfskin (German company), I've got some products from JW. My approach shoes I've got since 2001, 10 years use(Tatra mountain, Nepal, Scotland)and still with me.
Next visual and tangible finish product. On the first time you have touch by your hand, see all product and of course fit it. JW jacket is finished very well.
On the last point is check it in the reel condition ( water resistant, wind proof, breathable). The end price.
