I bought this jacket about two/three weeks ago now and it has yet to let me down. It's the end of November now so it's getting colder and colder and this jacket just keeps me so warm.
I've worn this jacket with just a tank top underneath and I was perfectly comfortable, even though it was very cold. The insulation in the jacket is superb and so lightweight. I've worn this jacket when I went to the Lake District and did a lot of hiking and walking. It was so cold and it rained quite a lot but this jacket kept me perfectly warm and dry. I've put the sleeve of this jacket under the tap just to see exactly how water-proof it really is and the water just flowed off the jacket, leaving only a few droplets behind that are easily swiped off.
The hood of this jacket is very good as well. It has a cap so it sticks out a bit which really helps keep the rain of my face. Not only that though, it has a little adjusting strap at the back of the hood so I can have the hood brought away from my face if I wanted to. It also has these little delights at the base of the jacket so I can tighten the hips and at the neck of the hood on each side so I can tighten the hood around my face.
The texture of jacket is really soft. It has a nice feel to it that makes it all the more pleasing and comfortable. Not to mention the gorgeous colour of the jacket that I wear with everything. Blue jeans, black jeans, walking pants, shorts, boots, converse, flats, I wear it with all. The jacket fits really well, comes in a bit so it doesn't make me look like I'm shapeless.
The only small problem I have with the jacket is the zip. It's one of those two way zips, you know, you have to put them together and then get the other end through? It can be very awkward sometimes, especially when I'm rushing and I haven't brought them together properly and I need to do it again. It worries me because I'm afraid it could just be one tug too hard and it's broken. As long as I'm careful I'll have nothing to worry about. It's just something to note when buying the jacket in case you really hate two way zips.
Well that's all I think of to mention. It's a really amazing jacket and I do love it to bits, best one I've owned. I would definitely recommend this.
