The name says it all. This new, featherlight insulated jacket features Jack Wolfskin's warm and very light synthetic fibre interlining, Microguard Maxloft. It can be worn as a stand-alone solution or an inner jacket (thanks to the the system zip). The excellent warmth-to-weight performance of the interlining is due to the hollow fibres, which trap more air for insulation. And there’s more! The jacket is hard wearing, windproof, water resistant, and has a super-compact pack size. Unlike down, the thermal interlining is also insensitive to moisture.

I love this lightweight but warm jacket. However, I have only used it as a casual jacket to wear, and have not tested it out in the elements. I am chuffed with this gorgeous jacket so far.
