These boots look a little like clown shoes because they’re so broad around the front of the foot. The good aspect of that is that they fit me where most other boots don't as I have very wide feet.
The second time I wore these boots I sprained my ankle very badly and ruptured a tendon. I’ll admit that could have just been bad luck. However whenever I wear them now my other ankle aches for a couple of days afterwards. If I walk consecutive days in these boots the aching gets worse and worse. So basically they're a write off, OK for gardening in but unfit for walking in. All in all an expensive waste of money.

First hiking boots I've found that that have a blunt shaped toe box to fit my square-ish foot/toe shape.
Prefer if eVent or GoreTex rather than own brand membrane. Prefer if Vibram sole rather than own brand.
