Product Information

The Mens Trango S Evo Boot from La Sportiva bridges the gap between traditional hiking boots and heavier mountain boots by remaining light and precise whilst boasting crampon compatiblility. The boot has out of the box comfort and is ideal for 3 season alpine hiking, scrambling, mountaineering and Via Ferrata. Your feet will remain dry and comortable with the Gore-Tex lining and the all synthetic upper is light and repels water. Importantly, the Vibram Mulaz outsole is made from the sticky Supertrek Rubber and has an edging platform to help you grip on those thin edges.

sturdy enough for a days scrambling, comfy enough for a day hill walking.

i like the lacing system, i find it keeps the boots nice and tight for longer than other boots.
ankle support could be slightly higher.

could do with some extra supportive insoles.

Very light and suitable for walking and climbing. Versatile light and comfortable
Laces break sometimes as have to tie them very tight to avoid them untying and elasticity of boot tends to let them untie unless done tight

Very light. Just the right balance of rigidity for winter hills/crampons and scrambling. Had them out for a week in November in Glencoe and at the end of each day, my feet were still in great shape. Also totally waterproof.
A slight heel lift on my right foot. I don't think the heels are quite as snug as some boots. But Like many people i have one foot slightly smaller than the other which doesn't help. Only other comment is I'd prefer metal eyelets vs material as laces can be pulled tighter.
