the wee piece of plastic to put at the end of the pole to prevent it from sinking in mud/bog, ... can be easily lost as it is not attached.

No rubber foot and dangerous in the mountains. In the Cotswold shop noone was around to give help and suggest a suitable one. I bought walking boots in the Cotswold Bournemouth branch every help was given me to buy my KEEN boots. Didn't fold to our suitcase either.

The were expensive. Doing the Coast to Coast and didn't budget for another pair of sticks (others broke) but having said that, you probably get what you pay for, so perhaps I should have invested in some this good initially !
