The Head Net Hat is a useful accessory in areas where there are large numbers of midges, mosquitoes and other flying insects. The ultra-fine mesh is stitched directly onto a wide-rimmed, pop-up hat meaning that the Head Net Hat is ready for use straight from its case. Manufactured from tough, multi-filament Tricot material, and with a toggled draw cord around the rim, the Head Net Hat weighs just 95 grams.

I found it useful to keep hornets off me while putting powder on the entrance to the nest to destroy it so I could paint my house. Hornets have a guard detail day and night to keep you away.

Kept all of the insects out, the mesh is very fine & appears almost opaque from the outside, but is very easy to see through. Plenty of length on the mesh to tuck it into a top without it restricting movement. Easy to fold back up & convenient carry pouch has a belt loop.
