Product Information

Perfect for putting in the miles, the Lowa Khumbu II GTX may be designed for staying largely on the beaten track, but is rugged enough for when you occasionally stray from it.

Covering a lot of distance on more moderate ground requires the right balance of support and flexibility: stiff mountain boots may become tiring, and soft shoes won't provide enough support for uneven terrain. The Khumbu II GTX has a high, supportive ankle and, while the sole has the rigidity and contoured shaping to provide support, it's engineered with enough flex for all-day comfort.

The balance of the rugged and the comfortable continues throughout the construction of the boot, with a mix of leather and breathable Cordura nylon used for the uppers, and a shock absorbing midsole clad in a sturdily treaded Vibram outsole taking care of business underfoot.

A boot constructed with careful balance, to make sure you don't lose yours.

I walk the dog twice a day and we do about 6 miles the boots are bril- this is my second pair

I need ancle support and the boots fair do the trick and for the first time in many years I do NOT have sore feet in hilly terrain after a few miles

The dog loves them as well and likes to sleep with one under his chin
They could be a bit more waterproof - I know they are goretex but on the hills in really wet weather the uppers get damp quite quickly- but hay ho I never have had boots that keep water at bay 100%
