For year-round mountain adventures, the Airzone Pro 35:45 has plenty of space for all your gear and a back system which breathes, contours round your back and adjusts easily for a precise, comfortable fit.

Combining Lowe Alpine's AirZone ventilated back, Torso Fit Centro length adjustment and AdaptiveFit hipbelt, the AirZone Pro fits exactly around your back, shoulders and hips and promotes airflow between you and the pack. The result: out of this world levels of all day comfort.

It's not just about the harness though: the layout of the bag has been designed to make stowing and accessing your kit as easy as possible. The capacity increases from 35 to 45 litres to swallow the extra kit you need for longer days out and occasional overnights, stretch mesh pockets and a large front pocket team up with hipbelt and shoulder-harness pockets to help organise your gear, and an ingenious bungee system on the front securely hangs onto a wet jacket or unhooks and expands to carry a sleeping mat. To avoid having to unpack the top of the bag to get at buried items, a large zip allows access to the main body of the rucksack. Instead of being at the front or base as with more conventional designs however, the access panel is on the side: this way you avoid putting the back system on the ground where it could pick up mud and snow.

It's sturdy, comfy, looks good, straps are useful, expands big but can be mad pretty small.
I'm really tall and think I'm just a bit larger than a large.

I bought this for a one off use not entirely in keeping with it's design.

The purchase was for a 24-odd kilometre march in the Brecon Beacons with ~25kg of load in the pack.

I think the pack might struggle with that volume of weight over repeated use purely due to the fact that's not what it is designed for and the strap padding would fail faster than through standard use.
Having said that, the pack was immensely comfortable for the duration of the march over a number of climbs and with significant weight loaded.

There is plenty of storage within the pack, which can be easily managed and secured through adjustment straps to stop everything slopping about.
All of the fittings and fastenings are of good quality, easy to access and use.

There are some very convenient pockets within easy reach including across the waist strap to provide easy access to essential items.

Adjustability is fantastic, it's easy to get a fit which is comfortable for extended use even with excessive loads.
Nothing pertinent.

Strap padding felt a little insufficient for the weight I was carrying, but then that's not what it's designed for.
With any actually reasonable load I have no issues with the pack whatsoever
