A versatile, general purpose mountain pack in the classic "crag-bag" mould.

To ensure the Half Dome doesn't get in the way when you're climbing, its slim profile is augmented with compression straps to keep it tidy. The contoured harness sticks it snugly to your back, but the stabilising waist strap has been kept narrow and unobtrusive so it can be easily folded out of the way of your harness.

Although it may be ideal for climbers, that doesn't stop the Half Dome being a very versatile daypack for anybody spending time in the mountains: stable, comfortable and with enough space to carry your gear for a day out walking in any conditions, it's a great all rounder.

Robust and Roomy Rucksack
Reviewed By Madeleine, 31 Jan 2014

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of kit and equipment I could fit in the rucksack. The straps and elastic on the outside of the bag was also useful.
The bag is sturdy but comfortable; a true bag for life.

Pretty Nifty Rucksack
Reviewed By Andrea, 21 Mar 2013

This rucksack has plenty of good attributes such as the size, how adjustable it is in size and shape and best of all - the price. The only negatives are that it is not the most comfortable rucksack and doesn't have many pocketed sections. Positives are that the back panel is sturdy and comfortably padded with the ability of folding down to be small enough size for packing away without taking up much space. Overall the product is more then satisfactory.

Good cragsack
Reviewed By Nathan, 15 Mar 2013

I purchased my half dome rucksack for the purpose of one day cragsack, a rucksack in which I could carry rope, gear, extra layers, lunch etc for a one day climbing trip, it has been excellent for this purpose, it is just the right amount of space each time. The only shortcoming I have experienced is a disappointing bungee break when attaching ice axes. Otherwise a great summer bag, note the nut shaped zip toggles, a nice touch by lowe alpine

Price-worthy Day sack
Reviewed By Laura, 17 Sep 2012

In need of a daysack for my trek in the Himalayas, I bought this bag simply because it was on special offer. It did the job and fitted well enough. It needs to be waterproofed though and I was disappointed to find it didn't come with a waterproof cover. The zipped compartment at the top was useful as was the compartment for your water bladder. The bright colour means I stand out in all my trip photographs! At the reduced price the daysack it definitely worth purchasing.
