Product Information

A versatile, general purpose mountain pack in the classic "crag-bag" mould.

To ensure the Half Dome doesn't get in the way when you're climbing, its slim profile is augmented with compression straps to keep it tidy. The contoured harness sticks it snugly to your back, but the stabilising waist strap has been kept narrow and unobtrusive so it can be easily folded out of the way of your harness.

Although it may be ideal for climbers, that doesn't stop the Half Dome being a very versatile daypack for anybody spending time in the mountains: stable, comfortable and with enough space to carry your gear for a day out walking in any conditions, it's a great all rounder.

Nice simple pack, great for climbing and hill walking. Looks very tough, should last me for years.
No need for the elastic thing on the back, that will probably get the chop !

A good basic, lightweight and well constructed day sack which came at a great price. Internal pouch and outlet for water bladder very useful. Ideal for multi-pitch rock routes, via ferrata, scrambling, day hikes etc. 35 Litres is ideal capacity to carry what you need for a climbing day out. Not really designed for multi-day trips, heavier load carrying or technical ice routes.
The only annoying thing I found about the sack was that as the back system did not absorb any sweat, channeling it onto the top of my trousers / underwear. These got so wet, that I thought my water bladder was leaking the first time. As really a summer sack this more of an inconvenience than a problem
