Marmot's own lamination technology needs neither lining nor 3-layer construction, yet the fabric is among the lightest, most waterproof and most breathable in its range. The Hyper Jacket also has built-in stretch, allowing you increased articulation if you don't like to feel constricted by your shell when the weather turns foul.

Rubbish
Reviewed By Ronnie, 12 Jun 2013

I went for a 9 mile stroll in the rain. I ended up very wet across the shoulders. Not sure if I had a rogue jacket as water came through the seams but I returned it and got a refund. Such a shame as its very lightweight and comfortable to wear

Jacket is very good and main thing it is waterproof and not hot to run in.

wanted something light but really waterproof
Reviewed By Janet, 16 Jun 2011

Really put to the test since I bought this jacket two weeks ago! Perhaps a little expensive but it looks good, is slim fitting and keeps the wind and rain out.
