The Mens Toronto GTX from Meindl is a full grain leather boot, designed to provide comfort, grip and waterproofing with plenty of support for treks and demanding hikes in less extreme conditions.

Using supple leather uppers for great comfort straight from the box, the Meindl Men's Toronto GTX Boot boasts a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex lining for optimum weather protection. If you don't need a heavy-duty pair of boots - but your walking exploits still take in varied terrain - then the balance of support and comfort you'll get from the Toronto GTX could very well be ideal.

Connecting you to the trail, be it muddy puddles or more rocky terrain, the Toronto features a grippy Vibram sole unit with a shock-absorbing EVA wedge for maximum underfoot comfort.

QUALTY BOOTS Reviewed By George, 23 Mar 2013

Already written one review but felt compelled to write another. Just come back from walking holiday wwhich included very steep severe mountain walks where the temp was 35 degrees. These boots were brilliant. Good grip great support. Back on the coach people were taking their boots off for relief. I did'nt feel the need to as they are so comfortable. BUY THEM you will not be disappointed

good boots, not so good laces Reviewed By russell, 12 Mar 2013

I've worn these for about 10 days and the laces need to be replaced! I'd read this was an issue before I purchased them, and, sure enough, one lace has frayed completely. Replaced with Dalesman 150cm Rnd Laces, which were just small enough to get through the eyelets.
Otherwise, boots have been waterproof in boggy conditions, and the grip has been fine.

Brilliant Boots Reviewed By George, 09 Jan 2013

These boots are so comfortable.Light but sturdy with great support. Hardly need breaking in. Walking in Scotland and hiking up Mountains in Canary Islands. Wore them all day with no fatigue whatsoever. Would highly recommend. The staff in the shop were brilliant in advising and helping me to find the best boots for me.

My first quality walking boots. Reviewed By Pete, 01 Nov 2012

After wearing cheap boots I realise you get what you pay for. On the plus side they fit like a glove, feel like trainers and are very waterproof. On the down side the grip on hard wet surfaces is not brilliant. I rate them as very good.
