As the name says, a precise, glove-like fit lets your feet follow their instincts with confidence. Trail Gloves are designed for runners who want to feel closer to the ground, to sense the shape of the terrain and allow their feet to move naturally. In essence, the Trail Glove provides essential protection for your foot while allowing it to move as though unclad. A flexible plate in the forefoot and an EVA midsole cushion against bruising from the uneven terrain without impeding the flex of the foot or the feel of the trail. The Trail Glove is engineered to stay firmly in place on your foot without feeling instrusive: Merrell's precise Omni-Fit lacing system and a rear foot sling ensure the protection of the Vibram sole and the rubber toe-bumper stay where they need to be. As well as the minimalist sole and excellent flexibility, the barefoot feeling of freedom and comfort is enhanced by extremely breathable uppers and a footbed with Aegis antimicrobial treatment.
